Check that smoke alarm

The London Fire Brigade is asking residents to check their smoke alarms and fit one if they haven't already done so. This advice comes on the heels of a recent fire in Shepherd's Bush started by a faulty tumble drier. They also want to reach those most at risk so their homes can be assessed and smoke alarms installed where needed, and officers are able to give important fire safety advice - all free of charge.
