7-13 November is Occupational Therapy Week. The theme for 2016 is to promote occupational therapy as a career. Occupational therapy is a science degree-based, health and social care profession, regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. The need for occupational therapists is growing, and this is being recognised nationally.

Twenty seven unpaid carers were recognised this week for their outstanding care and contribution to the community at the Westminster Carer Awards.
Awards were presented across 11 categories including unpaid carer of someone with mental health needs, parent carer, unpaid carer of more than one person and young carer.
