Epilepsy Society

Epilepsy Society is a leading provider of epilepsy services. Through their research, awareness campaigns, information resources and expert care, they work for everyone affected by epilepsy in the UK.

They offer a comprehensive range of information resources and the helpline gives callers confidential emotional support. Training for individuals and healthcare professionals educate people about epilepsy. Regional services provide support and information at a local level and aim to improve access to services through our 'epilepsy awareness and your community' project.

Specialist medical and care services

The centre of medical excellence provides the latest diagnostic tests, assessments and medical treatment. They offer expert residential and nursing care and support for individuals with complex epilepsy.

They help every resident enjoy life to the full recognising that everyone is different and tailor activities to meet each individual’s needs and interests.

    A wide range of activities for residents both on and off site and encourage everyone to take part in community activities and outings.
  • Art therapy
    Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that allows people to explore their emotions and feelings through the process of creating, painting or drawing.
  • Types of therapy
    They have a team of clinical specialist therapists, all experienced in neurodisability and learning disability with specialist knowledge of epilepsy and its impact.
