Westminster Dementia Adviser September Update

A couple of things to highlight:

  •  The Memory Cafes are back, there is one tomorrow (Tuesday 6th September) at 2.30pm-4.30pm in St. James the Less in Pimlico. The Memory Cafe North will be on Wednesday 29th September 2.30-4.30pm in 42 Westbourne Park Road
  • Terezie and Resonate Arts will be running online training for befrienders and volunteers again in two sessions, on 1st and 8th October, 10am-12.30pm, for more info about booking please see in the attached document
  • Arts for Dementia will be running a series of arts workshops in the London Canal Museum starting from 28th September, and series of dance workshops from 8th October in the Abbey Centre
  • Liberal Jewish Synagogue has restarted their Video&Tea sessions
  • Open Age, Age UK, Carers Network and In-Deep now all run a variety of in-person activities
  • Penfold Community Hub organises gentle history walks, next one will be on Thursday 16h September 10.30am around Marylebone area, meet-up near Sherlock Holmes statue at Baker Street (needs to be booked in advance)
  • Jewish Care have some lovely downloadable activity packs on their website
