Facilities currently provided include- We have two changing rooms equipped with specialist fitted over head tracking hoists system, shower bed included to meet all needs of personal care and toilets, all have good disabled access. Purpose designed kitchen with an open plan dining area, and in house catering service provided by our catering manager and team with a FSA 5 Star rating on both premises. Hi tech specialist equipped Sensory Room with specialised computer equipment linked to internet, a heated waterbed, vibrating seated base area with a mirrored background with bubble tubes.

Physiotherapist room on the ground floor with a plinth. Three pieces of specialist equipment to enable adults with physical disabilities to weight bear and stand in an upright position using a standing piece of equipment fully supported. These are initially delivered by a fully qualified physiotherapist from the Adults Learning Disability Team who assesses and demonstrates each person’s individual personal postural management programmes.

There is disabled access to the upper floor via a lift- the upper floor consist of a quiet room used for activities such as listening to individuals personal choice in sensory stories, story tape, music, using the headphones and aromatherapy sessions which may involve basic therapy sessions such as foot massage and foot spas, hand massage and head massage, nail pedicures and a great favourite is choosing what nail varnish shade to choose.

We have a large room we use for arts and crafts activities which everyone can be involved in to develop their own personal support plans in a way they want to present them such as arty / pictures / symbols /audio format etc.

We have two large interactive whiteboards for all to access, one at each base.

There are a selection of switches to enable everyone easy access to use the computers in our small IT suite and delay boxes that can be attached to electrical appliances giving individuals more control, choice and independence when using various pieces of equipment.

We have a small fleet of specially adapted transport modes that enable easy access the wider and local community.

Please note the cost of £107.00 is for a 7.5 hour day.
