Our handyman service is prioritised for people who are over 50 years old, or under 50 with a disability and live in Central Huddersfield. This services offers people extra help with small practical jobs to make their lives life easier and safer around the home.

Our qualified, multi-skilled handymen & women are available and these are some of jobs they can usually help with:

• Fitting security measures – door and window locks, door chains and door viewers
• Minor plumbing jobs like fixing leaking taps
• Easing & fixing broken doors
• Fitting carbon monoxide & smoke detectors
• Energy efficiency checks – installing draught excluders, radiator heat reflectors and energy efficient light bulbs.
• Painting, staining, simple plastering
• Installation of grab bars, ramps and other safety equipment
• Debris removal/emergency board-up
• Flat pack assembly/Furniture assembly
• Change locks
• Pressure cleaning of patios, driveways, etc
• Gutter cleaning and repair
