Penderels Trust offers advice, guidance and practical solutions to enable people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes, to achieve their goals in life and help them to play an active part in their community.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and have been a leading provider of advice and guidance to people with disabilities and older people for over twenty years. We offer a number of services to support people make the most of their personal budget/direct payment, from advice and guidance when employing a personal assistant to money management and training.
If you receive a direct payment and are planning to employ one or two personal assistants, this option will be right for you. This support package includes 10 hours of support and a payroll service for each of your employees. Usually, you will use most of the employment support hours in the first couple of months when we are working together to recruit a personal assistant.
The remaining hours can then be used later on to review how your support plan is going. You must use all the hours within one year.
