Carer benefits

Looking after someone else can be very costly. This is especially challenging if you're struggling to balance your work life with your caring responsibilities. It's important to know that there may be financial support available to you.

You can find information in this section about what financial support you can get if you're looking after someone and how you can get it.

Select one of the options on the left to find out more. You may also find some of the information in the boxes on the right helpful.

Carers' Personal Budgets

Don't forget that you may be entitled to a Carers' Personal Budget from your council to support you in your caring role.
