Peer Support Cafe - Church Street Library - Tuesdays

Abdul Mageed Educational Trust are delighted to announce the launch of Peer support Cafe.

The café will encourage the community sharing of valuable information, advice and guidance, provided by experts, supported by WCC registered interpreter/translator (Arabic, Amharic).

It is intended as a safe place to share concerns, seek advice, meet friends, make friends and escape loneliness.

Information, advice and guidance comprises talks on welfare, health and wellbeing, fgm, domestic violence, employability, how to live well on a budget etc and publicity for Migrant Rights Network ‘Know Your Rights’ guide, the Sunflower Co-operative, low-cost food membership club and other interventions.

When: Tuesdays until the 18th June
