Retina UK Peer Support Group - Saturday 18 March

London local peer support group meetings

This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.

Next meeting: Saturday 18 March, 11.00am – 1.00pm

We invite you to come and join group facilitator Bhavini Makwana for our next online meeting where we are delighted to welcome our speaker Dr Daniel Jackson, MA MB BChir FRCOphth, PhD Research Fellow, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology Honorary Research Fellow, Moorfields Eye Hospital Ophthalmology Specialist Registrar, Oxford Deanery.

Daniel will be talking about the three types of Retinitis Pigmentosa, any updates on trials & developments, answering any questions regarding retinal dystrophy and the My Eyesight app.

We were also grateful to be joined by Dr Jackson for our Medical Images Webinar back in March 2022. If you would like to view or listen to the recording please find the links below.

Before the end of the meeting we would also like to discuss and hear your thoughts about the possibility of organising a Touch Tour & Audio described visit to a London theatre for our first in-person meet up in May 2023.
