Care Concern Homecare

The mission: They are committed to providing personalised, dignified care that promotes the independence of older people in their own homes.

Their carers complete a comprehensive programme of training and are subject to continuous assessment to ensure they are delivering the best care possible. Regular refresher courses are provided to reinforce and update their care knowledge and skills. Specialist training is also provided for our carers to support people living with dementia.

The management team implement and promote high quality dignified care to all of their clients and readily adapt to the changing needs of the client. It is this attention to detail that they believe sets us apart from other care providers.

Nearly all their clients come to them through personal recommendations and their trained, experienced carers live locally.

The Services

Dementia Care
They provide specialist training to our carers to ensure that they have the skill and knowledge to allow our clients to remain at home for as long as possible, in surroundings that provide routine, familiarity and maximum independence.

Personal care
They pride ourselves on providing a service that respects the privacy and dignity of their clients. They realise that this is especially important during personal care services.

Home Help
Sometimes the challenges of day-to-day living can become overwhelming, They can provide practical support with a wide range of daily tasks

Companionship
At Care Concern Homecare, they promote independence for their clients. They offer support and companionship to help their clients continue participating in their interests and hobbies.

Palliative care
Their carers are trained to provide dignified care and support for someone nearing the end of their life. They work closely with doctors, district nurses and other community services to provide coordinated home support for patients with complex needs.

Night Care
They offer a full night service for those that need someone close by during the night. They provide two levels of night service: Sleep-in and Night Duty.

· The Care Quality Commission website– they inspect home care agencies regularly and publish their inspection reports online, highlighting what an agency does well and where there is a need for improvement

– they allow you to search for home care agencies in your area, to see what other people have said about them, and to rate them yourself based on your experiences
