The Mosaic Community Trust

The Mosaic Community Trust works to empower socially disadvantaged communities and build bridges between and across diverse sections of our communities.

They do this in three ways:

  • By running community based courses training local women and men as community outreach workers who focus on their communities’ mental health and wellbeing;

  • By building strong local partnerships with local service providers and other voluntary sector organisations to maximise project outputs;

  • By advocating for the voices of marginalised BME communities at public and voluntary sector policy and strategy briefings, events and meetings.

They run:

  • Community Health Champions Project - Empowering volunteers to become Community Health Champions whose role is to raise awareness about health and well-being and access to health services.

  • Men’s Health & Well-Being Project - Raise awareness about health and well-being in North Westminster and has recognized the growing importance of men’s emotional health and well-being.

  • Mosaic Church Street 50+ Drop-in Service – Tackling isolation, depression, loneliness – Free weekly drop-in service for 50+ women resident in Church Street, NW8 which offers free health and wellbeing advice and support for 50+ women.
