SMART is a charity that promotes mental health through purposeful activity. They offer a range of supported work and training opportunities in a friendly and enabling environment. People build both practical and personal skills, gaining experience and confidence. Working 1:1 with individuals SMART help them to find work and training outside SMART and reconnect people with their community through a programme of social events. SMART works with others - from statutory service providers to local employers – to promote good mental health.

SMART is open every day of the year - including evenings and Christmas Day - for drop-in activities. They also operate a referral system so that people can become members and use the full range of services.
