Attend

Attend is a national charity that supports and expands the roles volunteers play in creating healthy communities. They believe that volunteering has a powerful role to play in our health and social care, and work hard to find ways to make that role relevant and have impact.

As well as running their membership service they have also developed a full range of ways to improve volunteering in health and social care including:

  • Accredited Volunteer Management Training Programmes (Attend Academy)
  • Acquired Brain Injury Services (Attend ABI)
  • Volunteering in Care Homes (Friends of Care Homes)

Attend encourage local volunteers and those sympathetic with their vision to contact them, for information on ways that you can support their current projects.
