CNWL Recovery College

The CNWL Recovery College is a learning and development centre which supports people to recognise and develop their talents and resources in order to become experts in their own self-care and do the things they want to in life beyond mental health services.

Students include current and former CNWL service users, their carers and supporters and CNWL staff.

All courses and workshops are co-developed and co-delivered by people with lived experience of recovery (peer trainers) alongside people who have clinical or health professional experience (practitioner trainers). They cover a range of subjects relating to mental health, physical health and wellbeing.

Eligibility

Courses and workshops are free for people in the following groups:

  • People who currently use CNWL services
  • People who have used CNWL services in the last six months

  • CNWL staff (including local luthority staff working within CNWL integrated services)
  • GPs who deliver services within the Trust's catchment area
