Accessing education

It can be difficult to get back into education as an adult and can be especially challenging if you also have a disability or long-term health problem. But learning new skills can boost your self-esteem, and joining a class is also a great way to meet new people.

This section covers information about learning new skills (such as learning how to use a computer), continuing your education, and adult learning.

It's never too late to learn something new. You might have missed out on education when you were younger because of a health problem or disability, or maybe you just didn't fancy it back then.

Either way, there a plenty of options to choose from; it may not be as expensive as you might think, and there is often help available to cover costs.
